This game is pretty garbage but still addicting to me for some reason. The graphics look last gen and the character models don't have much variety or detail. The mouths don't even move half the time when someone is speaking. This is the 360 here. The blood spraying animations are fairly poor looking for a next gen title too.

After playing the Metal Gear Solid series the AI comes off as being absolutely terrible too. Enemies rarely chase you when caught. You can basically have one draw their sword on you and watch you hide under a bucket. They'll forget you ducked under a bucket and look around the surrounding area like idiots. They'll come across a dead body of someone you killed, look around a few seconds, then put their sword away and act as if nothing happened. At this point you just stealth kill them too when their back is turned.

The game offers 50 missions and 90% of them are the same throughout the whole game. You might start at a different spot in a level you just completed 4 missions ago except its night time. You might kill a guy who looks exactly like the guy you killed 2 missions ago.

Despite all these flaws I can't stop playing this game. I get too much pleasure out of sneaking around on rooftops, jumping down on a unaware guy, and watching my sword slice through his back. As you get more stealth kills and make more progress you get access to new skills, items, and clothing. You completely control how your Ninja looks, which is really awesome. Mine goes from wearing glasses to wearing a fox mask. =3

This game is mega fun if you're into stealthy ninja Japanese games or the Tenchu series. It isn't worth the 60 dollar price tag though. It should have been a budget 30 dollar release. Luckily my friend was the one who was dumb enough to pay full price for it. I'm just borrowing it from him.
