The first movie had a lousy script. The cast was mostly good (aside from Dr. Doom who I couldn't take seriously. "Oooh, I'm evil! Watch as I bore you to death!") and the action sequences were decent enough. It was simply impossible to bond with any of the characters when they're saying such stupid dialogue. When the first half of the film is dedicated to buildling up the characters, you NEED to have a decent script.
I enjoyed this teaser though and I'm holding out hope for the finished film. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
