OMFG, the MGS series just gets better and better and this one seems its gonna have a lot of emotion and a even deeper story then the others. Hell at this point I'm more interested in the story then the gameplay.

I also like how this MGS has a much more serious tone, I mean the others were serious but they also had little jokes here and there especially in the trailers. This one seems more dark and serious so far.

Snake never pulled the trigger, thus anything can happen. My hypothesis is that this is actually at the beginning of the game. Snake desires to kill himself in order to erase his bloodline (and because he is no longer needed on this futuristic controlled battlefield). I'm guessing that before he pulls the trigger, he realizes that he must kill Liquid Ocelot in order for Big Boss' legacy to be truely erased, thus he vows to complete his final mission before offing himself.



Edit: Apparently the new Metal Gears are called "Gekko's" in the United States now, instead of Gekku's (I think that's what they were called). Somebody call Gieko.

But his face was starting to decay unlike other parts of the trailer so it looks like the end.

Yeah I thought about the shot he takes but we don't know what it does yet, although I wouldn't be suprise how it turns out since Kojima is really good at showing a lot in a trailer but making it seem something it isn't.

Well main platforms and such, its not like the entire world would be destructable, I mean if they made a FPS game with that being the main focus maybe but they have tons of other content and stuff they wanna put in so thats reasonable. I'm sure there will be ENOUGH destrucable stuff just not everything. The shaving thing being gone is kinda sad cause that would be cool but I'm more interested in the new moves and the over 100 weapon combinations he mentioned before, hopefully that stays in the game.

You have to remember these Gekkos arent even real Metal Gears, everyone thinks they are. Kojima even said in a review that they arent really Metal Gears just weapons.

Well Kojima did state in 1 interview that you might see the Gekkos pissing so them shitting isnt too far down the block.

Damn Resistance improved greatly in 3 months, gonna be insane if MGS4 imrpoves at all over a year cause it already looks amazing.

are they fucking blind? I mean they must be watching a crappy version of the new trailer and basing it off that, but if you like at the HQ pics of both TGS and E3 the gameplay looks just as good as the cutscenes.

Actually it was 29 hours with cutscenes which is still very long. MGS my first time took me 7-8 hours, MGS2 10-12, and MGS3 16-19 so if this is 29 then that's awesome. I want this to be one long epic adventure. I just got my PS3 and pre-orderd the game I can't wait!

Well I probably explored a bit more then you or something, the thing about MGS games is it can really be short or long depending on how you play which is cool for people who like short and long games. BTW I forgot what is the Altaïr costume?
