[General Discussion] I make tribute videos

Hey guys, thought I would just share this with ya. I made a MGS Tribute video YouTube - Metal Gear Solid Tribute tell me what ya guys think. You will notice it's pretty different from most MGS tribute videos where all of them use the MGS main theme. That is the reason I did not use it for this one. I wanted it to stand out on its own with my vision. So sorry fellow MGS fans no main theme in this one. Tell me what ya think though! Any criticism is welcome

Sup guys, My 2nd Video Game tribute is done YouTube - Resident Evil New Age Tribute which is a tribute/look at the new school Resident Evil so please no posts complaining there isnt any old school RE in here lol. I'm aware of that as it was intended. Maybe one day I will do an old school tribute. Anyway hope you guys like it and as always any crticism on the video is welcome

Lol well thanks for the criticism guys. What exactly did you not like about the video? As posted any criticism is welcome as it helps with future videos.

ok so your problem was more with the idea of the video and calling it a tribute. I can see where you're coming from we all have different views on it.

Definitely, I'll get the HD cam ready and hire some actors who can pretend they like the game while I film them playing. Then I'll edit it and add in some awesome taylor swift music (I think that's what kid's listen to these days) And it will be epic!

Well my 4th video game tribute is up. This time it's DMC4, I tried to step it up with this one. I used some digital effects as well as added some of my own sound effects for a bigger impact in some of the fight scenes. I also took some criticism from other videos and added some faster cuts to the timing. Let me know what you think and as always any criticism is welcome!

I never said it was intended to be a trailer just edited in trailer fashion. All the fans, well most of the fans have seen the movie so showing what I showed is no problem. I said it is a tribute/look back on the movie just edited in trailer fashion. But hey any opinion and criticism is welcome. Some people thought the video was perfect and awesome, some thought it was just done right and some didn't like it. Just as I expected thanks for your time and feedback though

Dude. Give it up. You've posted multiple times, been told by many people that what you are doing is randomly cutting together clips from something you like and setting them to god awful music, and every time we tell you why it's not what you say it is you change what it is for the next time.

I like how automatically assume that whole Youtube part however it's expected. Unless I'm breaking any of the forum rules though I don't intend to "Give it up"

Everytime a negative comment was posted I still thanked them for their feedback as I said any kind of criticism is welcome. I never took it personally lol.

You seem rather intent to keep on keepin' on (a rare trait around here to not get butt hurt when you crash land on some fraction of the forum that decides to make fun of you) and I respect that. I'm just trying to point out that if you're expecting us to change our tune about those videos, you're going to have to change the videos.

I see what you're saying and I'm not trying to like change your guy's minds by doing some jedi mind trick lol. You definitely made your point and laid out your opinion. Even though it was a opinion of pretty much hating the videos you at least took the time out to explain why and I can respect that. I also see your point with the comments and what not. But really I do this for fun as I have tons of fun making them so even if one person gives me the usual fanboy comment "ohshiet ff7 rules" I'm still gonna make them and post them just because I have fun doing some. Either way I'm not here for some flame war or debate by any means.
