Master pack, which is a pack of 24 of the headsets, is 12 lbs, Einstein. The actual headset is 0.5lbs, which still is kind of heavy though right?
So are we supposed to just do the math ourselves and figure that a 'master pack' is 24 headsets based on the packages weight comparison, or does it physically say the quantity somewhere on that page that I am just not seeing? And yes, .5 lbs does seem a bit much to be hanging on your ear.

You would think they would break it down into ounces if it is lighter than 1/2 a pound, especially when 'oz.' is right there on the legend...

Additional Spam:
For people who didn't preorder the game and get a chance to get a beta code...

NOW'S YOUR CHANCE.

VERY interesting how they ask you for your xbox live gamertag when signing up...

EDIT:
Just got an email confirming a slot in the beta, which means I just grabbed a second code. Now I can play the beta with my bro. Saweet.

Once you’ve got the MGO Beta client downloaded and installed, it’s time to load it up. Upon launching and going past the main menu, you’ll see that you need to sign up for a Konami ID. What is a Konami ID you ask? It is Konami’s service that has actually been around for a while in Japan, which basically allows for a unified account and access across various Konami products and services. Konami ID will be used for the first time in MGO for the US, and using the Konami ID allows for some of the really unique features we plan to offer the community with MGO. Once you hit the Konami ID sign up menu option, you should notice something subtle, but really cool: MGO launches the PS3 web browser from in-game and takes you to the Konami ID registration page. You can also simply visit http://id.konami.net from your favorite Web browser right now and sign up as well, to get a head start!
Oh what the fuck is this shit. Is it not going to incorporate our PSN ID's?

How ya doing, buddy?

Fucking. Right.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Whoa whoa whoa what the fuck. This thread just exploded over the past two days. I'm really trying to stay away from it, because I want this to be as spoiler free experience as possible as it was with MGS3. When I finally realized I was playing as Big Boss, I got giddy like a 5 year old school girl.

Those South America shots look absolutely amazing though - it's really refreshing to see some lush jungle and foliage. I was starting to get bored with the whole middle eastern stage.

Can't fucking wait. I wonder if they'll ever announce if they made any changes to MGO from the beta feedback...

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Does anybody know if you preorder a game at a Gamestop, can the preorder be moved to a different stores location?

Apparently I graduated college and won't exactly be up there when this game finally comes out...

I was speaking idiomatically.

No, our stores don't link up like that, so your best bet is to cancel your preorder at it's current store and move it to whatever store you'll be near when it comes out.
Awwww . Would they refund me my $5 that I spent to preorder it? If they won't then I might as well just get it at Target or something instead of paying an additional $5 to preorder it again...

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Ok. I've been avoiding this thread like the plague for the last three weeks to make my MGS4 experience the best it can be.

Question –

I’m sure a lot of you know about the deal Wal-Mart has going on with their $100 gift card with the purchase of a Blu-Ray player (including all PS3’s), and I hear a lot of people saying that this does also include the 80gb MGS4 bundle, turning this bundle into probably one of the best deals ever.

A lot of my friends plan on purchasing it, but they don’t know anything about it. Is Wal-Mart carrying & releasing the bundle tonight at midnight? Is the deal only available online? If we bring an ad to do price matching somewhere, will they match a deal like this?

Sorry if this has been talked about before...it's just that when I try to research the topic, I get links to a bunch of little fags saying shit like "IT'S TRUE MY DAD WERKS THEIR AND SAYS I CAN GET IT.", and I want a little more confirmation. I can't even find the bundle on the Wal-Mart website...

Didn't think I'd go to the midnight launch, but one of my buddies REALLY wanted to go pick up the bundle at our Best Buy. There were about 20-25 people there, and my friend was the ONLY ONE who brought in a Wal-Mart ad and got a $100 gift card price match. Some people looked pretty pissed off...

Currently downloading the slow as all hell UPDATES FOR METAL GEAR: ONLINE. AGAIN.

I guess I'll sleep while it downloads...

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Holy shit. The only games I remember Gamespot giving a perfect score were Ocarina of Time and Chrono Cross. I need to fucking start the single player campaign, but I really want to wait until I get my HD TV (whenever that may be) for the best possible experience...

How ya doing, buddy?
