Apparently it is going to cost far more to upkeep the servers and what not due to accelerated growth and internet availability around the globe. Internet upkeep will also require a lot more money. (60 to 80 billion more than present rates, I believe)
Regarding internet brownouts... If it happens, it happens. (Sooner rather than later.) My productivity is decreased about 80 percent while on the internet so it probably won't kill me to be away from it. Jam it back in, in the dark.
