I SUCK at cooking but I love it.
I think the most joyful little things in life are the things that I don't have to think about but can be free to experience without overanalyzing, like cooking. I enjoy that every dish turns out different but I don't think its as fun when recipes remain unchanging. That is, when the capability for creativity remains static. That isn't interesting to me. This applies to far more than just cooking. I prefer to experiment and tinker and sometimes that requires to just go with the flow. I enjoy doing cooking because its challenging. When the challenge goes, so does half the fun! Jam it back in, in the dark.
