I was always deathly afraid of losing my games. Any of them. I did make a blunder of a trade by trading Secret of Mana for San Fransisco Rush 64, which was a good game for the time but not a very deep game by any stretch of the imagination. I lament that decision.
At th time, my best friend left for San Francisco when I was around 9, and he left Bionic Commando over at my house by accident. I really didn't like the game at the time but its since grown into one of my favorites and is especially neat because the game reminds me of him. (I wonder what he's up to these days?) Jam it back in, in the dark.
