I'd bet that most of the people who have the criticism-worthy grammar and spelling are native English speakers. Out of the online cohorts I have, the people who are non-English speakers put more effort into making coherent posts/arguments/whatever on the Internet and it shows. Apparently, the world is full of little buggers who can't reread their posts to see that they don't make sense. If they did, they'd see stuff like shortening "like" to "lyk" and similar things is fucking stupid.
Oh. That brings me to something else. About 99% of the time you're referring to the Internet, it's the Internet - with the capital "I". Pet peeve like whoa.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
