Tom Lehrer is brilliant, and I figured that I ought to give GFF a chance to listen to this chunk of comedy gold.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Effing right on, Mucknuggle! I've been wanting to listen to that album for a while. I heard some of "The Kidnapper Bell", and they had me at hello. I've got more Mono if you'd like to hear it, and I can upload it right away for you.

I think I'll also throw Portishead's self-titled album in here as well.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I would certainly agree, which is why I'll be uploading it in the very near future!

Man, do I love that woman's voice. And "Humming" is twelve shades of great.

I have now uploaded Portishead (as promised), and I edited the post about two minutes ago to include a Boards of Canada EP that I bought. It's quite good, and I would strongly recommend giving both albums a listen.

Did... did you just shorten "Admiral Amara" into "Admara"? Because that actually kinda works, DN. I like it

I'll be upping more later, probably an album by Pelican or Sonic Youth.

How ya doing, buddy?

I know I've been delaying it after people like Moon and Yama have asked for it, but I've finally made my massive Sonic Youth post in the Club, so all of you crazy people enjoy what I've offered! If you're new to the band, I'd suggest going for Sister last and working in reverse order, or asking me to re-upload Daydream Nation, which I will gladly do (and link you to the original post).

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Well, I've already uploaded all that I have, except for a live bootleg or two, so if you want to go ahead and upload more, be my guest. I'd love to hear more SY than I already have.

Made another large-ish upload, this time mostly for the benefit of a certain Capo, although I think everybody should have the opportunity to enjoy the Progressive Rock awesome that is King Crimson.

How ya doing, buddy?

Robert Fripp is a masterful guitarist, and more people need to be exposed to his genius. He is basically King Crimson.

Oh. My. GOD. knkwzrd, that's an absolutely incredible post. The only thing in that post that I actually have is Starless and Bible Black, but the rest of it is entirely new, and all of it material that I'd been wishing I could check out.

DAMN do you rule.

Hey, Yama, I finally got that Air album I promised uploaded. Any of you who haven't listened to Talkie Walkie yet, I really think you ought to.

knk, I'd love that, thanks. I'm just getting into Air as of... roughly, this week - so yeah, I'd enjoy listening to more Air.

Schadenfreude's baaaaaaacck ^___^

I'm grabbing that crazy-ass album you uploaded as we speak, Schad. It certainly looks like an adventure.

Moon, sweet deal with that Goddamn Electric Bill upload. I like what I've heard from them, and now I'll have the whole album. Huzzah.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Thank you for the Yo La Tengo Admiral Amara! I have three more of their albums I can upload, if people would like to see them.

I also have more Mono that hasn't been uploaded yet. I have "Walking cloud and deep red sky, Flag fluttered and the sun shined" and "You are There".
Dude, more YLT would be amazing. That's the only album of theirs that I own, and I really like it.

I've got both of those Mono albums, so if you want, I can upload Walking Could.... Or you could. Doesn't really much matter either way.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Oh, CRAP! Thanks for pointing that out, Yama. I'll re-rip and update the link shortly. I forgot that I ripped that one during the whole "blargh crappy formatting of rips" stage of my life. Expect it soon.

Also glad that people appreciate that Shaggs upload. It's ridiculous. =D

Correction: Yama's gonna re-upload it and send me the link. I'll update it tomorrow when I get the upload link and throw a post at you guys. It's great stuff, I'd hate to deprive you guys of it (er, in good format, I mean).

Oh, and wvlf, I had no idea that Zappa loved it so much. I'll have to edit that in tomorrow when I'm fixing the Mono link.

Well, I knew that Deerhoof covered "My Pal Foot Foot", but I didn't realize that this may/may not have been from a Shaggs tribute album. I thought it might've just been an independent thing, given the fact that Deerhoof are one of the big names in Noise-Rock and Noise-Pop and basically owe their sound to that famous accident of the 60s. I must hear this.

Well, that shows just how much I know about Noise-[genre]. My primary exposure has really been - you guessed it - Deerhoof, so they're the one's that I keep coming back to in reference to such things because they're what I know. I'm gonna have to get into more Noise-anything to really understand the genre(s) better.

My apologies, knk and Schad - as knowledgeable as I'd like to think I am about music, you two regularly put me to shame.

I think you've broken his brain, wvlf. The fact that he doesn't appreciate this particular cult Horror classic is absolutely baffling to our resident cult-culture expert.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?
