Despite all the negative critics, FF8 still remains my favorite game. Best soundtrack (the first one I ever downloaded), decent gameplay (who needs magic when you can join it to stats?) and awesome graphics (still stuck with the ball and the end animation, quite an original one), not to forget squall's limit break, which makes you almost invincible wiht proper junctionning :P
Chrono trigger: my favorite SNES game. Very original history (man, you can change TIME!), excellent soudntrack (from relaxing to rock and roll), amazing graphics (for the time, plus the SFX match well) and 12 different endings. However, now that I look at it, it can be finished... quickly
3rd spot... this one's too difficult. I can't get enough of the shining force series as much as the PS series.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
