Depends what crack you installed. If you've installed the timestop crack, vista wont be activated, but the 30 day activation timer will be frozen. To check this open the run dialog box (Win + R) and type slmgr.vbs -dlv and wait a few seconds for the box to pop up. At the bottom the time remaining should be frozen at 43200.
