I couldn't agree more. Santaolalla is the luckiest man in Hollywood, and he now has more Oscars than Bernard Hermann, Alex North, Ennio Morricone, and Danny Elfman combined. He's also now tied with Goldsmith, Bernstein, and Delerue.

Travesty, I say!

Yup, only one. He was nominated a lot more than that, of course. And the one win he did have was for almost an insult--"Thoroughly Modern Millie," a movie based on a preexisting musical:
