Can I mark "other?"
Seriously, my favorite makes aren't the ones that I drive. I'm a huge fan of orphan makes that have gone out of business over the years. It's really interesting to see how people other than the American Big Three and the Japanese Big Two did cars back in the day. To wit: Studebaker - the Loewry (sp?) styled mid-50's Studes are some of the most elegant cars ever made, and their styling holds up well to this day. DeLorean - Even though they were underpowered by sports car standards, the cars oozed cool from every vent. It's too bad that the planned DMC sedan was never made; I'd have loved to see a gull-winged sedan. Kaiser - They only made cars for a short while, yet their styling is as elegant as any established manufacturer, and their penultimate cars are more works of art than automobiles. Jam it back in, in the dark.
