I've meant to see this for some time, but the showing at our local indie theater was while I was out of town.

Of course, that didn't keep my from buying the soundtrack, since the score was by James Horner (for some reason...). The songs were a bit blasé, except for "Pure Morning," but the score was powerful medicine for anyone who says Horner only repeats himself. Very quirky and varied, with an off-kilter clarinet/oboe theme to represent, I suppose, the seething angst and drug use in the film.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
