First to vote once more

a boy and his blob - Shaded Plains The new ABAHB has a really charming and melodic soundtrack that even includes some remixes; this little charmer is the pick of the lot for me. The only downside is that it's cut far too short, though I managed to fix that albeit in craptacular quality.

Final Fight 2 (Game Rip) - Carve a Dragon Wood Must...avoid...obvious...joke. As beat 'em up (bemup?) music from a chippier age goes, it's not bad. There just isn't much of a hook to hang onto until she's almost over.

Hermie Hopperhead: Scrap Panic (Game Rip) - Boss Theme 2 That's an interesting name for a game right there. The music's interesting too: compulsively jazzy and riddled with some great sax lixx.

Kaleidoscope Original Soundtrack - Old Oddities (Nostalgic Heights) Nifty spacey-sounding chiptune(?) hits all the right buttons for an impressive finish.

La-Mulana (Game Rip) - Grand History Vaguely Asian-sounding SNESish tune has an impressive sound and some nice moments but doesn't really bring it all together.

Oni Soundtrack - Trailer High hopes for this, since O'Donnell/Salvatori and Power of Seven are both awesome, and both together should be double awesome, right? Not really. I can see how this would work with a movie of a ninja from the future, but as a stand-along it just can't cut the mustard.

Ridge Racer Revolution (Red Book Audio) - Attract Mostly too 70's for my taste, and its synth sax is put to shame by the one above.

zOMG! The Original Soundtrack - The Village Greens Apparently zOMG expanded Soule's fanbase to include 13-year-old girls and people interested in becoming 13-year-old girls (remember when Mitsuda was rumored for the assignment?). Joshing aside, it's a good effort, though this is one of the tracks that has Soule most in his quasi-ambient comfort zone.

The Point Spread
Shaded Plains - 3 pts.
Boss Theme 2 - 2 pts.
Old Oddities - 1 pt.
Village Greens - 1 nonbinding honorary spirit pt.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

The nom queue is starved and emaciated to the point that a nomination will probably be a fatal shock to its system. Nevertheless:

Album: Michigan Original Sound Track
Artist: Masafumi Takada
Disc #: 1
Track #: 1
Track Title: Chicago Skyline In The Fog
Catalog Number: SCDC-00378
Year: 2004
Source: VGMdb
Notes: If this does not get last place, I officially give up trying to guess SotW voting patterns forever.

Also, I will be traveling and most likely out of internet contact all next week. If we go for two weeks again (as seems likely ) it's no prob, but if there is a votefrenzy and we wind up running Week 239, I'll most likely be sitting it out (Translation: CHz will have to make his own dang thread).

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
