Ziggy is correct. Songs that didn't place may be nominated again, though this isn't generally done very often. In the interests of welcoming a new nominator, I'd be more than willing to let the issue slide.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Gonna try something new and put in some actual Battle Comments this week.

Fighting Layer / Arika - Tetsuo Kato (Fighting Layer Arrange Version) Pretty "meh" about this one. I don't hear anything that hasn't been done in any half-decent rock arrangement before.

Immortal 2 - Rain (Bonus Track) Still relaxing, still mostly ambient. A lot more boring than I remember, at least in the first half.

Sonic the Hedgehog Remix - Dr."Gigglymen" Not exactly a favorite from that week, but it has some funky charm. I liked the singing then, not so keen on it now--odd.

Onimusha 2 Orchestra Album ~Taro Iwasiro Selection~ - Chapter VII Truth of Guile I gave this an "honorary nonbinding sympathy point" in its week. It's aged rather well, with an attractive violin part (the strings all too often undermine Eastern arranged tracks) and those electronics. Still kinda repetitive though.

Heavy Metal FAKK2 Promo Soundtrack - Eden Suite Yeah, this one's mine, and the first in a Battle in a dog's age. I was honestly shocked that it won, but I've had good luck with this OST in general.

R-Type (C64 Game Rip) - Title I've figured out that I'm just not wired to appriciate C64 sidtunes. Some people can't stomach NES songs, others SNES; with me, it's C64. Everything about the sound irritates me on a primal level, even if (as here) the composition is solid.

Super Stardust HD (Game Rip) - StarFighting Across The Universe This one takes a while to really get started, but oh man does it ever get started. I gave this one co-first place and was glad to see it win.

GALAXY FORCE II & Thunder Blade ORIGINAL SOUND TRACK - Beyond The Galaxy -[H.] Arrange Ver.- Huh, we had a little cosmic theme going there the last two weeks. Absolutely nothing Galaxylike about this one, though, and I found it pretty boring and unremarkable.

A pretty middle of the road bunch of winners, I suppose. None were outright bad, but quite a few were rather meh. But the point distribution is a breeze, at least.

Truth of Guile - 1 binding nonsympathy point

Maybe we could defer Unlimited's SotW debut by a week to iron the issue out (since this week's thread was prepackaged and canned). I'd say a quick PM ought to do the trick.
