Even though I don't have anything to contribute, I think that this is a great idea. The old Scoremania board had a bunch of composer projects like this, where people go together to create lists of music by their favorite composers and then set about making them available as downloads.
It's something that I think would do very well here at GFF; I'm looking forward to seeing the response. Jam it back in, in the dark.
