I always wear orange on St. Patrick's day. Time was, you could get expelled or beaten up for doing that
 I always find that my feelings about St. Patrick's day, as a person of Irish descent myself, are summed up very well by "The Onion." Their 1999 St. Patrick's day headline: "Irish-Americans Gear Up For 'The Reinforcin' O' The Stereotypes'" Jam it back in, in the dark.
