The only problem with TV shows on DVD is that, on average, they cost $1,233,876.87 more than a simple movie DVD. As a result, the number that we poor people can get legitimately are severely limited.
For example, I have just two: Futurama and Firefly. I've been meaning to get the early (good) Simpsons seasons, but the ca$h simply isn't there. I find myself watching my canned shows more often than I turn on the TV to catch a specific program (which is essentially never).
The best part about these DVD sets is that they are insurance against the time when your favorite shows go off the air. And, as expensive as they are, they're cheaper than buying a VHS set; I remember the VHS Star Trek The Next Generation being priced 24.95 per VHS back in the day, but now you can get the whole shebang for only $300/season.
How ya doing, buddy?
