I'm not forking over for one of them before the price comes down. This is the way I've always worked my console purchases; I didn't buy an NES until 1991, had no SNES until 1997, was PS1-less until 2000, and didn't board the PS2 boat 'til 2004.
Usually I'll just buy one or two games that interest me and mooch off of a friend or family member that has a new system instead, and then buy when the system and its flagship games are more affordable. This is doubly important this time around, when the systems are much more expensive generally speaking. Jam it back in, in the dark.
