AEON - thin clothes -ETHER Oddly appealing synth-pop. I was hoping (from the interesting beginning) that the song might develop in an unexpected direction, but no such luck. Still, not bad.
beyond the dead future - oriental mechanist Percussion-heavy tracks can be hard to do; it's all too easy to fall into a maze of never-ending, dull drum loops. And, unfortunately, that's what happens here. Claymore - over take Decent synth-rock that has a high energy level but falls to pieces in its second half. Genso Suikoden V ~ Genso New World Music Collection - Admiral of the Seas Interesting with a lot of percussion and a definite infusion of Asian classical sounds. The pairing isn't wholly effective, and I would have liked some more variation, but it's good for what it is. Melody Of Legend ~ Chapter Of Dream - COZY featured in Zeus II The sudden introduction of Irish pipes helps a little, but for the most part this track is rather dull. Waku Waku 7 - Fight! Super Adventure Boy Rai (Rai Stage) It's got energy and drive, but that only takes it so far--by the end, I felt like there was some needed hook missing. Wario Land 4 (Game Rip) - Sapphire Passage - Crescent Moon Village I thought that this track would inject some much needed quirkiness into the week, but instead it just churns on and on, never really going anywhere and never rising above the level of mild build-up. If it had just burst into melody, or changed tempos, or done something... www .frankklepacki .com - Zanthia's Funky Swamp Never been much of a Klepacki fan; I find his stuff terribly dull in general. Luckily, this tune is a bit better than what I've heard before; if there's a fair bit of repetition, there's also good variation and some nice melodic parts. What a dreadful week; I was tempted to offer no points at all. Maybe I'm just in a bad mood, but nothing appealed to me at all this time around. The Point Spread Funky Swamp - 3 pts. ETHER - 2 pts. over take - 1 pt. There's nowhere I can't reach.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

As for Hamauzu's Thank You, I agree with Crash. The Unlimited SaGa stuff might squeak in, but other than that stick to the original works. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

So I take it we're looking at another delay this week?
How ya doing, buddy?
