Nomination!

Game: Tiny Tank (PSX Gamerip)
Composer: Appaloosa Sound Team
Track Title: SNOW08
Track Number: 9
Additional Notes: I don't know how accurate some of this information is, particularly the track title. I'm going purely by the ID3 tags on this one. I'll upload the song to the FTP.
Here's some more info:

Composer: Attila Héger, Zsolt Galántai, László Dürer Molnár, Tibi Bakter Sallai

The track title comes from the sound test. While it could be thought as being associated with a snow level, it isn't in fact since the game uses the music randomly. There are actually 12 tracks labeled as "SNOWXX" in the sound test, which is rather deceiving as far as representative or original titles are concerned.

Cool nom by the way, from an obscure game with neat music!

Jam it back in, in the dark.

BANGAI-O SPIRITS Audio Collection Plus - Bangai-O GO!
I liked this electronic piece, and when I noticed the composer, the reason became obvious!

Neo Contra (Game Rip) - Mission 3
BOOM! When "Mission 3" explodes in my ears, all my defenses are down and then I can't resist it. This mix of genres is interesting (heavy rock, electronic, trance, etc.), and the sections are varied, even though some aren't as exciting as the melodic apogee at 1:32. That part actually makes me think of a Follin line on steroids.

Putty Squad (SNES Game Rip) - Dr. Sushi's Laboratory of Terror
Although I've explored a good number of Western soundtracks, I wasn't familiar with Putty Squad. This is some neat SNES music from the late Mr. Joseph. It's repetitive and somewhat simple, but I still enjoy the mood.

SPIKEOUT Battle Street Original Sound Track - Bad guys ~Here Comes The Area Boss~
I don't find that this song is bad, guys. The rockin' is definitely solid, but I guess an elaborated hook could have made it more memorable.

Swept Away - Before Dawn
Serene piano music is not on my playlist at all times, but when I want to relax or go to sleep, it works wonder. "Before Dawn" is not particularly spectacular or outstanding, but I can't deny it's a good piano piece.

The Treasure of Usas (Game Rip) - Mohenjo Daro (Stage 5)
There had to be at least one chiptune, right? And this one doesn't deceive! Reminds me of some Konami and Capcom classics.

VAGUE2 - S (from AIR 'summer lights,' AIRness 'summer lights -AIRness-')
I was starting to miss ZTS noms... Well, I'll join the consensus and add that it's not the best I've heard from his catalog. I think what killed the tune most is the stock beat, followed by Japanese vocals (which are more tolerable than others I've been exposed to in the past though). But I appreciate the trance at the end. Fans of this style of music should be delighted since I find it's well-mixed, but unfortunately, I'm not really one of them.

Vampire Savior The Lord of Vampire - FEAST OF THE DAMNED
The classic Capcom fighting game sound is one I love. "FEAST OF THE DAMNED" is good, but I don't find it excellent because it's too standard compared to my favorite tunes in my opinion.

--------------------

(3 points) Neo Contra (Game Rip) - Mission 3
(2 points) BANGAI-O SPIRITS Audio Collection Plus - Bangai-O GO!
(1 point) Putty Squad (SNES Game Rip) - Dr. Sushi's Laboratory of Terror

----------

Nomination:

Artist: Alastair Lindsay
Album Title: Kingsley's Adventure (Redbook Audio)
Track Title: Title
Track Number: 1
Year: 1999
Source: VGM Rush - Kingsley's Adventure

I will upload it to the server.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
