I only saw the first two episodes and I have to say that I really like the direction it presented. I can deal with the fact that it's slightly different than the manga, but the first anime was just abysmal.
But you guys are saying that it's getting random as the story progresses? I don't like the sound of that at all. That's one of the reasons why I hated the first anime with a passion. Jam it back in, in the dark.
