[PS2] Final Fantasy XII

Man I am PO right now....I was fighting Yiazmat got him down to 1 bar with only 1 Mega-elixer left. So I went into the tunnel to heal my characters cause they were getting Murdered and next thing I know from 1 bar left all the way to 6 bars. I was WTF??? I had to abandon the fight. That Pissed me off. I had 52 eithers, 4 elixer, 4 Mega Elixer and 3 high either. I was using the Reverse-Decoy Technique. Man does that drain your MP fast.

I see now why you guys say, when you get down to 4 bars, he is almost impossible to beat. The problem is, he gets alot quicker, defense is up and does this 1 lung that takes your whole HP away (Not talking about Death Strike). What also Pissed me off, when I was in the tunnel healing and comback to fight, he would use Death Strike (that automatically kills you). Is there anyway to counter that?

Now, I am LV up to 99. When I was fighting him, I was at LV 87 doing 6,999 damaged. I need to get stronger.

PICCOLO---about the mote, I found you can buy a Warp Mote in Rabanaste in the Bazaar and Knot of Rust. Haven't found the other though.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I have faught that LV99 Red Chocobo. Got my butt whoop and was LV 87 (I believe). Why I got my butt whooped is because he uses some kind of magic where rocks fall on all parties and deals 4500 damaged. Reflect doesn't work and he is quick as heck.

I just finally beat Yazmiat yesturday and my eyes were blood shot RED. I didn't even take a break from that battle. But I am done for a couple of day to let my eyes heal up.

Man, was he difficult when he got down to 4 bars. Got alot quicker and defense was high. Also, didn't know that he doubled his LV. I personally used the technique "Decoy-Reverse" with the gambit on 1 character and had the other 2 cure one another when low but attack also. All 3 had Arise. When he used "Death Strike," that would be the only time when I would control the other 2 characters to "Arise" the person that is getting hit by "Deathstrike," before "Deathstrike" effect take into effect. Took me about 3 Hours.

When I got down to, I would say about 6 hits left on him, I thought I would lost it because I had 1 guy left and brought in a girl to PD but she got hit. So everybody is dead and I had to bring in 2 girls with HP 2350. 1 died, but the other one actually PD, revived 1 guys and revived the other 2, and ended it. A gruelling and exhusting battle.

I like the gambit system personally. That helped me out big time with healing mostly. Like someone mentioned earlier, you can concentrate on what you are doing without everytime thinking about other situation. For battle like Yazmiat, I cannot see anybody beating him without the Gambit situation.

anyways, now to the Giruvegen . I hate that place. Like a Maze. But do you need the Diamond Amulet to get Excaliber and the strongest Shield (forget the name)?

Yeah, I am going to try and get it while I am there. Pretty much all I have left is Ultima and Omega. I have 99 of everything besides the ether, which I am going back for.

lol....try to get 99 of everything. Makes it easier. Did you use the Reverse-Decoy Technique? You should use that and have the other 2 use Curaga on themselves and have everybody, even the one using the technique, have Arise at the top of your gambit.

By the way, does anybody have the whole list of Beastiary? Or anybody know a website that displays the whole list?

Metal Sphere---do you know how to make Juggernaut appear in the Feywood? I am currently at "White Magic Embrace" in the Feywood and all I am getting is the Mirror Knight, Mantis and Serpents.

By the way, does anybody know if LV99 Red Chocobo count toward your Beastiary?

ahhh...I thought you encountered him. But the Henne Mines is a good place to build up your LV. My LV is LV96 ad 95. I am doing the hunt, and Now got to go to the Pharos to fight Tower and Avenger ....Great. Hate that place too.....

Metal Sphere-----I beaten both. Yes was easy. Problem I am having was getting Tower to respawn. I tride the waystone to 79 ack to 88 and vice versa. Was trying to get the Grand Helm. But F it. I found a circlet though . Now I can not get the Giza to change to sunny . I tried from Rabanestra-->Giza , Giza--->Rabanestra several times......No Luck. Then I tried (land that you head toward Jahara)-->Giza and vice versa and no luck. Its still raining...So F that Now. Now I am trying Gemhorn (Lushu Mines: site 11).

Yeah, I had to abandon that and come back to it. I did the minibug (barheim passage) and Ithuno(Barheim Passage), Dustia(Esternsand) and then headed for Terror Tyrant(westernsand) and he was there YES. Finally.

Yagyu Darkblades takes a while. Try doing a chain of those bombs. It should eventually drop it.

Hey Soldier-----If you doing the hunts, before you go to the Crystal(In Giruvegan) to fight Omega, you might want to clear those Rare Monsters too that are somewhere in there. It would be a B**CH that you beaten Omega and left the Crystal to later find out that their are Rare Monsters up there too, to complete the Rare Hunt game.

lol Saga....it took me 30 chains to finally get that dang sword. But for the "Danjuro" a rare monster in the Crystal(Giruvegan) drops the Danjuro. By the way, saga "NICE PIC"

Well.....Now I just defeated Zombie Lord and got my trophy.....Yipi Skippy .....that makes 28 trophys for me with 9 more hunts to go. When i get to the crystal that is where Omega, Ultima and the Rare Monster will get hammered. I am pretty much ready for that place.

Well I am down to 4 hunts left . 3 is in the Great Crystal(Giruvegen) and 1 is in th Pharos (Luxillod). Next up Luxillod, then Great Crystal(Man I hate that place)

SCRATCH AND SNIFF -----I never had a game over either until I faced Zodiark. That was my first. But to me, to actually say you beat the game means you defeated every boss(Main story and Optional) including the hunts. Pretty much your whole Beastiary has to be complete.

But hey, if you don't feel like doing it....Great Job in beating the game.

YEEEEEEEEEEAH....well I am in the Great Crystal(Not using any help with this) and for some reason was so . Anyways I found my way out and now I just defeated Ultima. (My 13 ESPER is complete) . I had to use 3 Megaelixer for this b/c he used that magic thatr drains your MP.

I thought I was having a deja vu for a moment that magic similar to Zodiark but white. I also used 3 Mist on him and took him down.

If anybody can clear this up, why was it everytime I would hit him, his power would go down then back up? He didn't have reverse on me until his power was very low.

So far Ultima (Gone), Chrystal Night (Gone), and Evil Spirit (Gone). 2 Left: Omega and Larva Eater.

Ohh I managed to get the Excalibur and Stoneblade but not the Zodiark Eschelion. Anybody know where that shield is? Right Now I am at the Save Crystal (Thank You Lord) before Ultima. There is 3 path: Middle, left and right. Ultima was in the middle, if you take the right path, their is a waystone. Do not know whats on the left path though.

Well I know that now. Now I will get that. But I just had my first encounter with Omega. The MFer is fast and deals 0ver 5,000 damage. I lost but managed to get him down to low power but he did kill me .

I need to figure out a good gambit system to counteract his speed and heal me when he uses that Berserk. I was getting so frustrated because when I would use the Reverse/Decoy Method it would be on for under a minute then fade away. On top of that: Reverse/Decoy would.... Miss....Miss....Miss....I am dead. WTF? I got the Arise down, thats No problem. Its basically the healing Berserk and his speed....WOW is he fast.

Ohhhh the hunt trophy is complete. Got something like ("forgot the name here" Morion) for all trophies. The only hunt I have left is Larvae Eater (Great Crystal) and cannot get him to come out. Anyone know how to make him spawn?

WAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOO Lol.....just beat Omega on 2nd try. Wasn't to bad, but did me in good, a few times, knocking me down and leaving me with 1 guy several time, ready to Arise my fallen character. What helped was that he didn't attack and let me revive my other 3 characters. .....I used Tournesol, Deathbringer and Masimune.

His Atk went up from 5,000 to 6,000 when his HP was low. Also I managed to get the Zodiac shield on the my first try.

But still I am in the Crystal trying to get my last hunt (Larva Eater). I believe I killed more than 256 monster in here. Just got to figure out how to make him spawn.

As of 1:41pm.....I just found the final rare monster known as "Larvae Eater." I am finally done with the Great Crystal and the rare monster Now, I am going to try my luck with the LV99 Red Chocobo (If I can get him to appear).

The hardest thing with the LV99 Red Chocobo is he is like Omega with the Speed but the Chocobo magic does 4500 to all parties instead of 1(like Omega).

Yeah I got the Formalhaut also on my first try without the Armlet. I also found another Formalhaut in Cerobi Stepp (but had Armlet equpped).

Having a little difficulty if anybody can help me:
I have found and defeated everything in my Beastiary but I am not getting the Ba'Gamnan(in the Sky Pirates Den). In my beastiary, their are some that haves numbers right beside them. Do I have to clear everyone of those to get that Ba'Gamnan?

Metal Sphere-----There is some that are in white. Some that, for instance Mandragoras at Phone Coast, they will have a #14 right next to it. When you kill another Mandragoras, it drops to 13 and so on.

Also, for the Gabranth, it says I need every fusion technique. Is that the mist chains like Torrent, Black Hole, etc? If so, I keep on getting frustrated because I keep on getting 4-4-3 .

Yeah, I was trying that in Giza(rain season with the Blue Crystal). I managed to figure out which one I missed with the monster was "Garif." Now I got the Ba'Gamnan.

Metal Sphere----Just got the black Hole. All I need is White Hole now . I just beat the game and cannot wait for FF XIII for the PS3. Dude was way 2 easy. 3 Hits and his health bar was 1/2 . Same with Gabranth. I think Ill go back and get the Ambrosia and be done with it.

The the stuff I was asking you questions about, my 3 guys are LV99 and the 3 Girls I was working on raising the LV. Now they were LV43.

What I was getting confuse about (for aquiring every license), 1 site had Larsa: achieve every license. But when you said Rasler, that told me there was a mistake. The only thing I have left for Ambrosia is Gabranth and that White hole.

What actually happens when you get everything for Ambrosia and you go back to Montiblanc?
