You can play home brew on 2.01+ firmware.. You just need a copy of GTA:LCS.

For anyone who is interested, the downgrader for 2.5/2.6 works, I just did it to mine. They said that if you had a factory 2.5 or 2.6, it wouldn't work, but I had a 2.5 and updated to 2.6 and downgraded to 1.5 and it worked perfectly. Devhook can simulate 2.7 now, so there shouldn't be any need to update your psp at all!

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
