Spoiler:
Maybe I just suck or something, but I had no issues with Agitha and her constant money givings. Her money helped with the bridge donation and the church donation and it paid for my Magic Armor. Pretty much Agitha's funds had set me up for the 4th and 5th dungeons and all the sidequests that involved throwing around Link's money.

Rupees are extremely easy to get in this game, and I guess that could have been in part due to the Magic Armor and it's Rupee-Sucking feature. (Sup 2 Rupees a second and 30 a hit) Although I do seem to recall Nintendo saying TP would not require you to Rupee grind so you could spend more time on the game itself rather than "Gotta get dat rupee"

Which kind of sucks, because after you've done everything you can with rupees what is there to do? Restocking isn't that much, especially with Malo Mart Castle Branch, and there are thousands of rupee grottos in the game... so where can all this money go?

I just spend it all playing the mini-games or fishing with Hena as a guide. Hell I even just wander around with the Magic Armor simply because I can afford those 8 1/3 minutes that it lasts.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

church:
1000 rupees for a Piece of Heart.

Given to you by a power which you cannot comprehend =o

EDIT:

fishing:
Has anyone else gotten the Frog and Sinker lures for Lure Fishing? Frog lure comes from playing that evil Roll Goal game and beating all 8 levels (What a way to waste 1000 rupees btw~) and Sinker lure you have to catch a Hylian Pike , Hyrule Bass, and Ordona Catfish then you can steal it from the little area of water next to Hena's house with your regular fishing rod. However if she catches you using it if you use her as a guide she will steal it from you.

How ya doing, buddy?

None whatsoever. Maybe someday there will be downloadable content

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
