Unit-02 all the way to Unit-06. With actual pilots in every single one.

They have also launched yet another Evangelion manga series, [Evangelion Gakuen Mokushiroko], this is also another alternate universe series (supposed to not have any Evas in it since Shinji and crew can kill angels without them).

The first movie was okay... people argued that none of the characters really look or act like the ones they "grew up with" since Shinji is no longer emo but is just very shy along with other characters having much more emphasis on certain personality types than what they normally had, and that the things changed (which was quite a bit -- I counted at least 30 things different from the original series) ruined their understanding of the series as a whole.

A lot of people said battles were similar to "the greatness that is Gurren-Lagann..." but I didn't even notice any similarities aside from both of them being nicely animated.

It's just something you accept and enjoy, fanboy/girl gush and love it regardless, or hate with every ounce of your being.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
