I just started a Human Ranger, and I love it.

Yes, eventually it will move to Neudaiz Relic Runs, Moatoob Relic Runs, LL S-Rank runs, Dragon S-Rank runs, etc. etc.

I don't think anything is going to radically change anytime soon, but I'm content with how it is.

Synthesis is frustrating, but it is kind of worth it.

4* B-Rank weapon is 8600 from the shop, but you can buy the board for 4300 and have 3 chances to make them. Of course you could be cursed and fail all 3 chances or something >____>

But if it succeeds you can have a killer weapon. Unless you are a Ranger or Force, in which case you just got a cheaper weapon :P

I'd rather pay 4300 + any necessary material fees instead of 8600 x2 just to have my Rifles or Dual Guns.

Everyone says to do all Melee or Armor synthesis on your max luck day, if you add elements, since the luck you have can help determine what % of element you will get on the item.

Probably so, you should swap out your Bullet PA, or maybe it is a lack of one?

That's the one good thing about guns... no confined element, switch out the Elemental PAs as you wish~

The best time to open a shop would be when you have things you can profit off of, which tend to be high end materials.

Rangers are not designed to kill anything. They exist as a support class, not the super duper damage dealers like they used to be in PSO. Rangers are the best class to inflict any type of status effect with, and if you say otherwise you are lying to yourself or probably haven't seen real rangers in action.

It is honestly not that hard to aim, even if you hop around on one leg strafing. It just requires the ability to see. FPS mode is also helpful in aiming but I wouldn't use it when a mob gathers around.

If you want a broken killing machine though, do try a CAST Ranger in Offline. The insanely high stats are glorious.

As a Human, my damage is so-so. It's not so great but not so bad either. It is simply like the race itself -- average.

I think Shock is the best status effect hands down. Freeze is ok if you're soloing I suppose, but it only takes 6 hits to break something out of the ice and with a ranger that occurs pretty rapidly.

I have to wonder what exactly are you hitting for 70s.

The only thing I'm smacking around (At level 19 I believe) for 70s are those stupid Rhinos in Relics. That's with a dagger too, I'm not psycho enough to pump it full of lead. Damn Deband.

Forces are the powerhouses in the game anyway. They will outdamage anyone, even a Hunter w/ +10 S-Rank whatever with the highest ATP possible and at maximum level PA.

Their TP is just that tremendous.

The only thing I really like about the dagger PA is that it hits 4 times and smacks almost every weakpoint on the enemy. I was able to hit 4 of Syvaltus' weakpoints with it for crazy damage.

Then he swung the sword and made me cry. But still, crazy damage!

Speaking of that robot boss... The easiest way to take out Adahna Degahna is to pull out a melee weapon and walk behind him. When he turns walk in the direction he is turning and just keep hitting him. He should just turn around endlessly forever until he dies or teleports, in which case you just repeat the process over.

Not the most challenging ways to beat a boss, but it gets the job done I suppose.

Onma Gohg is pretty fun to fight, well not really he is a royal pain in the ass. However it is fun to shoot his wings off since then he is forced to walk on foot and becomes a much easier target.

Fuck those giant rocks he throws though.

It is kind of understandable though, since in PSO Rangers were the king of the game. All you needed was 1 Frozen Shooter 1 Spread Needle and something w/ Zalure and nothing could get in your path.

Well, the ATP isn't too hot, unless you grinded yours, so it is kind of understandable.

Are you using the proper element (or any at all) against the robots? Hitting them for ~40 seems like something is wrong there. Seriously.

Even with no element I shoot them for more than that.

Well, I don't know what to say to that honestly.

Also about grinding. It appears that the Yohmei weapons have two breakpoints. One at +4 ~ +5, and another at +10. If you are rich and have backups it is suggested to get any Yohmei's to +5 because (most of the time) the ATP they gain will double what they started with, and it doesn't take rocket science to see that is a good thing.

If you don't like grinding that high, even on your max luck days (hey, I've had something break when they said it wouldn't break on the first upgrade), GRM is the safe choice, although I don't know when they get their good breakpoint, but with their already somewhat high stats a few low grinds will make them good.

I feel you on the meseta issues, sometimes you just gotta solo a billion times to get what you need.

Now if only it didn't cost an arm and a leg (sort of) to get 5* weapons.

According to importers +10 is also a huge boost for Yohmei, even bigger than +5.

I don't see any human way to do this though, unless you're using C-Rank weapons. Because B-Ranks suck to grind.

I'm fond of killing those hoppy freaks in relics with melee, they are just so much easier. Especially if you know how to go straight into melee after shooting instead of waiting for that awful delay. Then again I am biased because the Dagger PA knocks them straight on their face.

Rare? I wouldn't really say rare... well the board and Inverter Circuits are rare drops, but you can find them at shops for cheap prices if you look hard enough. You only have one shot, and if it breaks during grinding you cry and make another. So I guess that could make it rare.

I think a ~40-50% element Fluorescent Bulb (6) is pretty damn awesome for a melee weapon. This is just based on using a friend's though (although I guess technically it belongs to both of us, he just has more use for it).

The sound got on my nerves after a while so I just switched to Dagger

Restarted my Ranger after noticing Daravon was making pure Range PM, so I can go for a pure Armor PM.

My GH-440 will be ready for maximum armor synthesis (which seems to be 70% apparently, from reading around) and battle in one week.
