Smacking your kids around for spilling drinks is just wrong, in my opinion. Just make them clean it up themselves and let it go.

That's why I just plan on not having kids at all. Its just seriously too messed up.

Philia, I really do not understand your logic. Yes, you had a horrible childhood, but WHY is it you can't see that you do not have to repeat that for your own kids? Not everybody is a horrible parent. Not everybody had a drug addicted mother that neglected and abused them. YOU could be a good parent to your child if you chose to do that and let go of this insistence that all parents or kids are bad bad bad.
You are 28 years old. Let it go already.
