Really enjoyed it. Why people seem to expect a deep movie with substance is cimpletely beyond me. It's an action film for Christs sake...
I was mostly comparing it to Apocalypto in that it's a really bloody film that doesn't make you think too much. It does exactly that. There are a few flaws in the film (the bits with the Queen really slowed the pace down and she was a bit meh) . However, the action scenes were superb. Apocalypto's the better film in terms of enjoyment, but 300 is the better made film.
