Pretty cool episode. About as good as an episode from Seaosn 1 (which is still pretty good), but not on par with the best of season 2. Nice to see maybe another survivor (Karl) and now we have Henry's real name (I wonder how many people are gonna call him Benry?). The opening did me going WTF!!!! Brill opening I must say.

See, I don't find it confusing at all. Weird yes, confusing no. This is a sci-fi show afterall, things aren't supposed to make sense straight away.

Why should Jack calmly try and negotiate and trust the Others? Afterall, they've gone and shot him in the neck, captured him and his mates, turned one of them against them and stuck him in a room for slicing and dicing fish (which must smell horribly). I don't like Jack, but I do sympathise with him in this instance. I sure as hell wouldn't be calm as a cucumber in his situation, I doubt many people would.

Once they start having flashbacks for the decent characters (Hurley, Sawyer, Desmond, Locke, Eko, hell, maybe even Benry) the show'll be back into gear. Jack's episodes are always the worse.

And let's not forget people, they've only known each other for a couple of months. Why the hell should they trust each other like they're best buddies? Only somecharacters have shown a degree of trust when it comes to matters that involve other things (you know things are fucked when one of those characters is the resident con-man).

While that's partly true, Jack was the reason why he chose to go back to drinking. While it was his choice to decide to drink, Jack was the catalyst.

There's definately a soundtrack out for Season One, not sure about 2. And this episode was awesome. Full of Sawyer-y goodness. Looking forward to next weeks like crazy.

Loved the episode. The trippin' scene was brilliant I thought. I'm wondering if some of the thing Boone said are gonna happen. For example, when Locke pointed to Claire, Aaron and Charlie he said "they'll be ok...for now" or something like that. Might have to watch that scene again.

The only thing I didn't like was that they revealed that the Hatch was completely destroyed. I loved that bloody set...

Seriously, why's everyone bitching? Apart from some minor things (Locke being part of a fucking commune that grows weed for example) this season's been great so far. We knew that the show was gonna be more about the Others and we know that the show is supernatural in content.

While I get your point about Libby being killed off (if you're gonna kill someone off, make sure you don't have a huge bloody question hanging over their heads), in the end she's dead and has an unresolved plot point. It needs to be solved because that's what the majority of people want. The writers have to cater to the fans and they've done this before (the Hatch for example, while being adored by myself, was disliked by others because it made life too easy for the survivors and so only lasted a season).

Personally, I'm loving the way the show's gone and is still going. More Others and supernaturally goodness for me please.

After 2x06, it's 'rumored' that they're taking a break for 12 weeks, with no new eps until January, where they'll go for 17 episodes straight, without breaks. Correct me if I'm wrong, though.

Anyway, I'm really curious to see what Jack does. Will he listen to Ben, or will he follow Juliet's 'lead' on the video tape? Something's telling me that the video tape is all part of Ben's plan though.

First of all it's 3x06, not 2x06.
Secondly, the show's going on hiatus until february after next weeks episode.
Thridly, I also think that the tape is part of Ben's con.

Jack's gone up in my estimation after last nights episode. Before then he was a bit of a drip, wouldn't do anything particularly 'bad', However, I like him threatening to kill Benry. Definitely makes him more interesting.

Absolutely ecstatic that Kate decided to bonk Sawyer. They're much more suited to each other than Kate is to Jack. However, it was made clear to me in this episode that Kate has strong feelings for Jack. Bugger.

Also, woulda thought that Nathan Fillion would've started to become just a little bit wary of hot women and them offering him things...

LOVED the last episode! Such a feel good episode after the dreary, serious episodes of this season and most of season 2. Consider my faith restored.

Since that Jack flashback (which was the worst episode of Lost ever), the show's just got better and better. That episode was just wow! I can't wait to see what happens next week (not said that in a while).

Yeah, really good episode. I used to like Juliette, thought she was misunderstood, now I just hate her. What's gonna happen in a week and why was she given a gas mask? Are the Others gonna gas the beach or something?

Next weeks looks good as well. From the way Jin was pointing, it looked like there is something coming in from the horizon. Another plane perhaps?

I reckon that when the thing with Juliette happens and makes Jack look like a muppet, he'll be seen as disgraced and Sayid and Sawyer'll take over the leadership role. I've been saying since Season One that those two'd end up as, maybe not mates, but perhaps allies, despite their obvious dislike of each other.

To me, this episode made me really think that this Jacob fellow is Christian. If Ben was telling the truth about Rachel's cancer being cured then Christian would be in an ideal position to get this mystical cure to her. Furthermore, he could have found out about Sawyer killing that man as they were both in Australia at the time and it's not inconceivable to assume he followed Sawyer or found out by some other means. Furthermore, the finale is supposedly another Jack flashback (ugh), so, it's likely that Christian will appear. Finally, he seems to have met most of the Losties or have some connection to them. For any other show, I'd probably explain it as some kind of nice little connection that is a conincidence, but with Lost I'm not so sure.

Jack and Sawyer were becoming friendlier though. At the tail end of Season 2 Sawyer said how Jack's the only friend he's really ever had.
