There are currently no actual portable digital audio players that can stream music wherever you are, but it's feasible as many phones are connected to the Internet via GPRS. You'll have to pay for the bandwidth, of course.
There are products that can stream music in your own home though, via either a WiFi or ethernet connection to the Internet. The Acoustic Energy WiFi Radio (£199.99) can stream stations directly from your Internet connection without the need of a computer; and the Slim Devices Squeezebox ($299.99 for wireless version) can stream audio content from your PC. Both items are very expensive, so you must consider if you want Internet radio that badly. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
