No, metaphor is the right word. It's a political issue that can apparently be only solved with violence, and since nothing in the Palace is ever resolved it is sort of a parallel.
Unless this is some Watchmen-esque social commentary about Might Makes Right, which would already be cliched, the implied message is that nothing can ever be resolved except through sheer force. Which is a pretty depressing message considering how minor of an issue this is. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
