My dad, being a Jap-hater, blows up whenever my brother and I "support" anything Japanese. Even playing DS and GCN or even PS2 infuriates him...
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING? THESE PEOPLE KILLED A BILLION CHINESE PEOPLE, SAY THAT IT WAS TO LIBERATE THE COUNTRY AND YOU TWO SUPPORT THEM BY BUYING/WATCHING PRODUCTS THAT COME OUT OF THAT EVIL COUNTRY?" Mum on the other hand doesn't mind as long as we do what we're supposed to do (study, housework etc.) Jam it back in, in the dark.   |

Thank god he's usually working though, no matter how tight that may sound coming from me...
We usually just resort to internet surfing when he comes home. Or manga reading (on our laptops, that is). There's nowhere I can't reach. |
