Xbox: Kingdom Under Fire (series)
The game is something like Dynasty Warriors, only (IMO) much better. It's not just crazy hack-and-slash but there's a good amount of strategy mixed in there as well. Also, you control several groups of armies (usually 3-4). I really enjoyed the first one alot. Second one had a level that I couldn't beat for some reason. Learning curve is a bit steep, so prepare to spend a little bit time how to maximize control over your army. Overall, great game even though the campaigns were a tad short. edit. Doh, *PC* games, just noticed. Well, I can still recommend Starcraft: Broodwar (been playing for years and still play today). DEFCON is also worth checking out for some nuclear warfare. Great little strategy game to play with friends during class. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
