I drive a 1997 Mitsubishi Mirage, which surprisingly hasn't had any major mechanical problems since I got it in 2003, though it should probably be noted that my dad bought it with a dead engine and swapped it with the equivalent part from a junkyard. The rear suspension and back passenger brake needed to be replaced after some idiot ran a red light and T-boned me, though, and the whole thing looks quite beat up.
My dad is a dealership mechanic, and a rather good one at that (he did the mechanical restoration on a 300SL, among other things), which probably helps to explain why the thing still runs so well.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
