He said there were several games that would work on the m3i Zero and not the CycloDS, such as Bowser's Inside Story. The CycloDS would have freezing issues during cutscenes on some ROMs, I believe he mentioned. He also told me that, at the time, CycloDS required purchasing updated firmware separately.

It's true that Bowser's Insider Story did freeze up on CycloDS, but that was right around the first week of it's release. Firmware is quickly released for it and there's hardly ever any problems if you upgrade frequently, unless you want to play some obscure game that no one cares for, lol. And yeah, firmware is always free. =P
