Just out of curiosity, why does everyone assume that Peter absorbed all the powers Sylar took. After watching the last episode, I was under the impression that Peter only got the telekinetic powers because that is all he saw Sylar use at the homecoming.
I have to agree with that--he should have all those powers, even if he doesn't know it yet. I only say this because he was able to regenerate when he fell off the stadium in Homecoming. He didn't know Claire could heal, but he still somehow used her power.

I don't know how to double quote in the same post, but Sousuke pointed out the paragraph above. I'm guessing Peter can copy powers just by being near the person. Like he also copied Nathan's power before either of them knew that Nathan could fly. I would assume that he can copy all of Sylar's powers, he just doesn't know what they are yet.

PS: He met Future Hiro on the subway, that means that he can manipulate time and space like Hiro can.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

He better not. He's from New York. It's soda, not pop.
Wow, thanks for the translation, Drex. I had no idea what Grail was talking about. Does anyone actually call soda, pop? That sounds like something out of the 1920's.

"I'm gonna get me some'a dat dere pop. Twenty-three skidoo."

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I didn't see Peter as turning "evil" or dark or whatever. He was just pissed at Issac because 1) he kept Peter from Simone and 2) sold Peter out to Bennet and caused Claude to leave. I'd be pissed off at Issac, too.

We all know how easily Peter could have killed Issac if he wanted to, but he didn't, so I don't see how he could be considered "evil" at all.

That's true. I never thought of that. She was there at the time Peter blows up. Unless Simone is not dead. She could have a power? All the tag line said was "someone dies", that could mean the super-hearing lady not Simone.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Okay, so I'm just geeking out without being specific now. Without praddling on for paragraphs and paragraphs more, let's just say the whole episode was fantastic.
YOU are geeking out? During the episode last night, I did the whole Heroes on-line thing and while the episode played out on TV, I was getting IMs from Wireless on my computer.

That is the ultimate geek out.

Additional Spam:
How exactly does the company go about finding these people? If they are able to just pick up people who they know have powers, then shouldn't Hiro have been recognized by his father?
Who even knows if Hiro is Takai's son? He might be doing the same thing as Bennet and raising a super-powered child as his own.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Does anyone know anything about the second season? I'm thinking what keeps this show interesting is that you don't know all about the characters and by the end of the first season, I think we will. So, I'm wondering if they will introduce a whole new set of heroes with new powers for the next season. It might get a little boring if the same heroes deal with a new crisis every season.

Oh yeh jeez but it would seem so far the writters are clever enough not to fall into the pot hole.

I would like to see some new heroes live to become main characters. It seems all the new heroes just become Sylar fodder.

Besides Wireless, no new hero has lived more than an episode.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Peter cant die. If Sylar were to steal Peter's powers he would become invincible. Even if you had a hero who could beat Sylar the guy would just absorb the hero's ability and kill him.

I expect there to be a fight between them, or atleast Peter giving Sylar more resistance than he's use to. Peter will recieve his scar and probably escape.. since I doubt Sylar will be killed off.
I think Sylar will have to die. He will just get too powerful for anyone to fight sooner or later. I don't see how Peter will be able to stay in the series, either. Once he really learns his power, he will just be too powerful, also.

A month and a half until the next ep. This reminds me why I HATE network TV. May sweeps? Why can't it be March sweeps? What is so great about the month of May?

Jam it back in, in the dark.
