Kazyl's Photo thread
Um. These are very casual photos I've taken pretty recently. I needed a place where people would be able to actually see these instead of idling in my locked photobucket account :p. Hopefully I'll get some type of feedback.
This was taken on a trip to Oakland. A friend's friend asked if I could shoot the cover art for his band's album. These were some that didn't make the cut but I like them regardless. They were taken at an old warehouse that was closing down. Spoiler:
These were taken somewhere around Downtown Berkeley. I was experimenting with crossed-process slide film and these were the results. Spoiler:
I'll post more later. Jam it back in, in the dark.

photto: Um. Well I didn't plan on having other people post but if you want to, feel free. That's if you don't want to make your own photo thread of course.
elwe: Yea I see what you mean. The dark is a little too dominate. Here's two more: These two are my cousins taken at a birthday party. Spoiler:
I posted this one on my DA account but it's not like I'm gathering any major hits there. This was taken somewhere in Downtown San Diego. Spoiler:
There's nowhere I can't reach.

DarkLink2135: Haha, I like that photo too (3rd warehouse picture). Just how simple it is and all the texture in the background. Just wish I took more.
photto: Thank you. Do you have any of your stuff uploaded? I'd like to see them. Ok, 4 out of the 5 I'm posting have already been posted on my DA account but again, it's not like I get much traffic (or comments) there. This was taken in my printmaking class: Spoiler:
This was the photo that the band I mentioned in the first post used for their cover. Taken on the same roll as the warehouse photos. Spoiler:
That's it for today. Night. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
My bad. I use a Canon A1 with a 1.4 50mm lens.
Fujicolor Superia X-TRA 400 film. Slide film was Kodak Professional Elite Chrome 100. I really like a shallow depth of field so all my photos are pretty much shot around a 1.4 f-stop. Except the chair shot, that was probably at 13 I believe. Forgot what the shutter speed was. I'll have to keep track of those from now on. elwe: Yea. I was just walking along and saw it in the lake and was immediately drawn to it. Dee: By trash do you mean the chair? I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Not sure if I like these all that much:
Spoiler:
I was speaking idiomatically. |
