Well, recently I overslept and completely missed my Philosophy class. Our take home test was due that day and I was freaking out. I zipped over to school only to find the classroom empty (no surprise) with the intent to drop it off in his mailbox in hopes that he would take pity on me. The syllabus said no late tests would be accepted and that they would have to be handed to him on that day.
Not wanting to lie, I told him straight up in the note that I didn't hear my alarm clock at all. I had already made piece with the fact that I had lost 100 points when a few days later, I get the test back with a 78%. I was too relieved to even care. I'm just glad I didn't get a zero. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
