I had a fleshed out post and everything for this, but lost it due to attempting to add it at during the moments of the recent downtime beginning.

I don't think we should wait the entire length of the contest. We should kick things back up after or near the end of the first round. The real time consumer is getting familiar with the songs, so once new ones are done being introduced, everything shouldn't be so time consuming.
I don't know if the nominations queue has been updated entirely, but it looks like the disqualified albums list might still need it. There's nowhere I can't reach.  so they may learn the glorious craft of acting from the dear leader |

Song of the Year was a big enough shindig that we don't really need a follow up so soon. I mean, we've got the contest going on currently. If everyone is so hungry for some sort of special event, why don't we do something involving the silver/bronze tracks? Gold receives so much attention already.
