Had this friend when I was in my freshman year. He's what my parents would later refer to as a bad influence (first influence to drinking/weed/skipping classes). During the time we hung out, I got a copy of Final Fantasy 8. He had copies of Final Fantasy Anthologies and the original Suikoden.
At this point in time, he had much better taste in games than I did, but he ended up paying for it in the end. Made a trade. I'd clear a disk of FF8 and lend it to him one at a time. I got my grubby hands on FFA and Suikoden.
To this day, my copy of FF8 is missing the fourth disk.
