Shit... I didn't even think concerts. The Warped Tour is a great place to meet musicians, actually. I hung out with Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach in 2000 right after their set. He was a pretty cool guy, I thought... I now regret having seen them instead of Jurassic 5 since they played at the same time. :/
In 2002 we once again hit the Warped Tour and hung out with all the boys from Reel Big Fish, but this time this happened before they went on stage for their set. All of them got pretty drunk and lit before they went on stage and as soon as they hit the stage it was RAVING LUNACY. It was actually one of the better shows we saw that day. Also, on that same day I actually sat and had a good long chat with Greg Graffin of Bad Religion. He's probably the most interesting person I've met on the tour. I'd been listening to Bad Religion since '98 and never even knew what he looked like until that day. I also found out that he's adjunct faculty at U.C.L.A. and he teaches anthropology. Ain't that a bitch?
In 2004, we went to the tour in Ventura and met Tom Keely (guitarist from Thursday) while we were taking a water break. It really is too bad that we didn't meet anyone else from different bands that day, but altogether it was a fun day.

OK... You're OFFICIALLY the coolest person on the boards right now.
There's nowhere I can't reach.
