Underground 2 was the last one I bought and enjoyed but the last truly great Tony Hawk game was the THPS3 because that game took use of the brand new (at the time) hardware available and truly pushed the limits of size and scope in the games. I mean, environments in that game were just so fucking massive and they basically perfected the controls. THPS4 followed in that same vein but after that, they basically started recycling all the ideas over and over.
I gave up with Underground 2 because, I had grown tired of the series by then even though I still enjoy their soundtracks since they always have a really solid selection of metal, punk and hip hop. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
