5. John Bonham - For my money, the greatest rock n' roll drummer ever. Not for technique, not for speed, not for coordination, but just for sheer balls out power. No one put quite as much behind every swing as Bonham.

Ounce for ounce this man was the greatest drummer indeed and is near the top of my list as well.
1. Django Reinhardt - If there's anyone who I'd like to see play on stage today, it's the gypsy swing king right here. He died so young too.
2. Bill Hicks - If anyone deserves to clasp a stand-up mic and rant for hours on end it's this man and he needs to be brought back to life RIGHT THE FUCK NOW.
3. John Bonham - See knk's reasons.
4. Cesar Chavez - When I was younger United Farm Workers was actually an organization that helped people like my family when dealing with labor contractors and while growing up it was something that I believed in very much. Ever since he died, the organization that bears his name has been marred with corruption and really no longer helps the very people who created. Even the public service radio stations that it once owned have become fourth-rate Spanish music whores. If Chavez were still alive this never would have happened.
5. My grandmother - This one is simple enough, I think.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
