Are there gangs in your area?

Living in Central California gangs are pretty common. When I first came to the states in 1988 they were fucking rampant and you always heard gunshots at night. Now if I hear a gunshot it's not surprising, but it's far from a normal occurrence. I have had more than a few friends killed in gang-related incidents and even though a few of them probably had it coming, I can honestly say a couple of them didn't deserve it.

I seriously have NO respect for these "thugs" walking around the street thinking they're "hard". In the end, they're all a discount car wash at best.

They don't get red cars here. I live in a town called Ivanhoe which is considered "south-sider" territory and the color here is blue.

It's like a demographical PAINT BY NUMBERS!

Yeah, I used to live in Medford in 1998. During my one year stay there I don't think I saw a SINGLE gang member or even someone who would look plausible enough to pass for one. I miss Oregon.

NONE of them are the real thing, Capo. I have yet to meet anyone under the age of 35 who is a REAL Crip or Blood. It's like everyone splits off into their own little conclaves and give their respective gang some fucking ridiculous name like "Midget Locos", "South Side Kings" or "Latin Timez Playboyz".
