I don't really think they're gross in moderation, or in good taste. I mean it's pretty disgusting when a guy has every square inch of his body tattooed, and it's also pretty inappropriate to have a nekkid girl on your biceps so you can say hey watch her boobs grow HOORAH! And I think it's inappropriate to have tattoos on your boobs, since they sort of attack any mans face. Like eyes wonder straight to the boobs no matter what. Skulls annoy me though.
I actually think they're really cool when you're old, you sort of get a reminder of what you thought was really cool when you were little and explain it to all the young un's. Of course you might have to stretch out your skin and that'd look really creepy, but what the hey.

[I]Aside from that, I have to say that video game character and logo tattoos are one of my tattoo pet peeves. Tasteful symbols are fine (e.g. the Dragonforce thing), but characters just look ridiculous. I know a guy who got a Kirby tattoo above his crotch. A KIRBY tattoo. Above his CROTCH. A freaking chastity belt couldn't be more effective.

Lol, i saw a guy at my local gamestore with Samus, Master Chief Mark 1, Link and I think Ryu from Street FIghter all on his arm. Yeah, one arm. That's a little much.
