Games like Civilization cater to this playstyle since there's not much to "complete" the game except playing a game on the super hardest mode with all the civilizations. Even then it's not really done.
To a certain extent it has prevented me from picking up newer current gen games. Or even systems. I've held off on getting a DS/PSP/GBA, but I'll get around to it eventually though. After I've caught up on some PS2 games.

Indeed.
I respect both gamers. They each have their own way of doing things, and thats fine.
I'm definately a B. I play my SNES, NES (just bought back Crystalis), and PS more than my XBOX. I love the RPGs on the SNES, and NES always has a bunch of old games I like to pick up and play from time to time. Playstation has a plethora of good games that are very deep and have alot of replay value(as above mentioned, SotN, FF:T, and Civ2). I love to play games like Civ, Black and White, Populous, and Morrowwind over and over to see what I have yet to find. If I had the extra money, I'd probably shift more into Gamer A/B balance.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
