I use 800x600.
Anything higher strains my eyes (17" CRT monitor, 20/20 vision). I can't see how people use higher resolutions for their desktop (unless they have a big-ass LCD screen). Jam it back in, in the dark. |

Like, at my college's computer lab, all the monitors are 19" LCD screens and I don't mind the high resolution. At home, my 17" CRT monitor doesn't work that way for some reason. Games, yes, bring on the high resolution. Desktop/browsing/word processing, no. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
